Text: Matthew 6:33 , Luke 17:20-21

Show how God’s rule changes everything: our purpose, priorities, and how we live here and now.
His first message was about it:
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” - Matthew 4:17
Most of His parables begin with it:
“The kingdom of heaven is like…” - Matthew 13 , etc
He said it was His purpose:
“I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” - Luke 4:43
It was His ongoing message:
“He went through every city and village, proclaiming and bringing the good news of the kingdom of God.” - Luke 8:1
It was His post-resurrection focus:
“He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.” - Acts 1:3

I. Understand the Kingdom of God

• The Kingdom of God defined:  Gods kingly power over creation and people. The realm and rule of the God.
• The Kingdom Of God is Here and Not Yet.

II. Make the Kingdom of God Your Priority

• “Seek First the kingdom of God”

III. Experience the King and his Kingdom through righteousness

• “...and his Righteousness.”

IV. Enjoy the Satisfaction of Living in the Kingdom of God

• “ ..and all these things will be provided for you”
• Revelation 11:15  - “The seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”
