✦ About

What we believe

At Glen Meadows, we believe that what we hold true shapes who we are becoming. Our faith is centered on Jesus—our Living Water and our purpose—and it’s His truth that roots us, grows us, and sends us out. As we make room for one another and for those who aren’t here yet, our shared beliefs create a community of belonging where disciples are formed and the gospel flows through everyday relationships.

✦  What we believe

One God

We believe that there is one true God who exists in three persons — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:18-19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Hebrews 1:1-4)

✦  What we believe

Jesus is god

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate (in the flesh) who came to all the world to offer the only solution to sin — a holy sacrifice. (Philippians 2:5-8, Luke 2:40, John 1:1-5, Hebrews 4:15)

✦  What we believe

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit permanently lives in every believer providing assurance, strength, and wisdom. He also uniquely gives each believer gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ. (John 16:7-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:30)

✦  What we believe

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God revealed to humans and inspired by God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 15:4)

✦  What we believe

Salvation

We believe that salvation (the forgiveness of sins) is not linked to church membership, works, good deeds, heritage, or genealogy, but rather faith alone in Jesus Christ. (John 1:12, John 3:16, Romans 3:23-25)

✦  What we believe

Relationship

We believe becoming a Christian begins with starting a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (John 3:1-15, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17-20)

✦  What we believe

The church

We believe that the Church exists to reflect who God is and to bring glory to Himself. (Matthew 16:18-19, Acts 2:41-47, Ephesians 1:22-23)

✦  What we believe

Forgiveness

We believe the only remedy for sin is a renewed life based on faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:6-9, Galatians 3:13-14)
