RESPONDING TO THE KING

In this next movement through Matthew, we see Jesus revealing the heart of the King and the nature of His Kingdom. He sees the crowds with compassion, calls ordinary people to join His mission, and invites the weary to find true rest in Him. His Kingdom is not built on performance, power, or religious pride, but on mercy, trust, humility, and surrender.

As Jesus teaches, heals, sends, and confronts, every person is faced with a response. Will we doubt or believe? Resist or receive? Stay divided or become devoted? To follow the King is to make room for His authority in every part of life and to join His work with open hands and willing hearts. In these passages, Jesus invites us to live on purpose as disciples who trust His goodness, carry His message, and find our deepest rest in Him.
