Text: Matthew 5:1-12

Introduction:

The Setting of the Sermon (vv. 1–2)
This is not how to enter the Kingdom, but how Kingdom people live
The Sermon on the Mount is not a ladder to climb, but a mirror that reveals who we are and who we are becoming in Christ.

  • Jesus says, “Trust Me with control.”
