THE SPIRIT FILLED HUSBAND
Husbands must be filled with the Spirit of God
1. You must be Born again by the Spirit
2. All Christians have the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit
John 14:16–17 “16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. 17He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive him because it doesn’t see him or know him. But you do know him, because he remains with you and will be in you.”
3. Actively Seek the fullness of Spirit. Eph 5:18

“And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit”
God commands us to be filled with the Spirit, and if we are not filled it is because we are living beneath our privileges.

Husbands must Understand the Mystery of Marriage.
1. Marriage is primarily a Covenant Relationship
2. Marriage has Agape love as the foundation
3. Marriage has a story to tell.
4. Marriage has a picture to show.
Husbands Must Understand The Mystery of Women.
1. She is delicate.
2. She is a daughter of God
3. She is endowed with God’s grace
4. She is the key to your relationship with God.
1 Peter 3:7
“Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker partner, showing them honor as coheirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.”
Husbands must love their wives as Christ love the church
A Husbands love is to be Sacrificial vs. 25
1. Prioritizing her spiritual emotion and physical well-being
2. Laying aside pride, personal gain and selfish ambitions
3. Being proactive - seeks to bless protect and nurture
A Husband’s love is Sanctifying ( Eph. 5:26-27 )
1. Praying for and with your spouse.
2. Being an example and spiritual challenge
